Hū-koân-chè (-khoân-, eng. patriarchy), he̍k-chiá kóng hū-koân ia̍h ka-hū-tiúⁿ-chè (家父長制), goân-lâi ê ì-sù sī kóng chi̍t khoán cha-po͘-lâng chhōa-thâu ê ka-têng; khah khok-chhiong ê ì-gī, mā chí ka-têng í-gōa kui-ê sêng-liân lâm-sèng chi-phòe ê hē-thóng, ùi pún hē-thóng tang-tiong, cha-po͘ chú-koán cha-bó͘-lâng ê sèⁿ-miā.

Lēng-gōa, lú-sèng-chú-gī ha̍k-chiá kā pún khài-liām hoat-tián chò chi̍t thò siā-hōe-ha̍k lí-lūn, ēng lâi gián-kiù sèng-pia̍t koan-hē ê siā-hōe chiâⁿ-chân (social stratification).
