Bangkok airport to stay shut [siu-kái | kái goân-sí-bé]

tóng-àn:Suvarnabhummi.jpg

Bangkok international airport will officially remain closed for another two days, airport authorities said on Saturday, as protesters continued to occupy the building.

Anti-government demonstrators occupied Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok on Tuesday and the domestic Don Mueang airport was closed on Thursday, stranding tens of thousands of travellers.

Despite the declaration of a state of emergency at both sites by embattled Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat, police have failed to act against the protesters amid fears of violence.

'The People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD) group is still occupying the area in front of the Suvarnabhumi airport passenger building with no sign of dissolving,' airport director Saereerat Prasutanont said in a statement.

'The airport, therefore, has to declare there will be no flights in or out for a further 48 hours until 6pm on December 1,' he said.

May I interfere in your business with Thaimanun[siu-kái | kái goân-sí-bé]

Sorry for interfering in your business with the said user. I am to introduce myself: I am a user in the Thai Wikipedia and my nickname is Por (meaning "dragonfly", that's not what essential but just wanting to tell), I am Thai and able to speak Thai (for sure), English and French. However, I would like to inform you that:

    1. I am indifferent upon the prevailing political circumstances in my country and I try to maintain this indifference as much as plausible. There is a joke in my country that the best solver for the prevailing polarization in my country (red side, UDD; and yellow side, PAD) is my University, for its symbolic colours are red and yellow.

      2. However, Thaimanun is not like that, he is anti the Government and has attempted to distort some facts in the Thai Wikipedia for may times. I have warned him of his trouble-makings for three times.

        3. For your questions I am to arbitrarily give answers on his behalf: Khwam Ching Wan Ni ("The Truth Today") is a television programme run by the Government-supervised National Broadcasting of Thailand ("NBT" for short), it was initiated by the Government of Samak Sundaravej so as to politically fight against the PAD.

          4. May you be informed that your needs of my helps are always welcome.
