Français : L'arbre représentant un aulne évoque une aulnée, terrain planté de ces arbres. Il n'y a aucun fondement historique ou étymologique à ce choix, qui n'est destiné qu'à donner un caractère parlant à ces armes. Les deux fasces ondées symbolisent l'Aire (le plus mince) et le Rhône (le plus épais), les deux cours d'eau qui formaient historiquement la limite naturelle du territoire d'Onex. |
