English: Poix-du-Nord (France - Nord department) — “Keighley Hall„,  party room of the town.
The city was particularly affected by the First World War with a heavy German bombardment causing 58 civilian casualties. The mayor of Keighley, who already had personal and professional ties before the conflict with the mayor of Poix-du-Nord, proposed that his town adopt the French town in 1920. An English subscription was launched to erect the new village hall, named Keighley Hall in honor of the donors.
