Renders a flag icon and wikilink to Oa̍t-lâm. This template is equivalent to {{flag|Vietnam}}, but is named after the standard three letter ISO 3166-1 alpha-3 country code for Vietnam as a shorthand editing convenience.
You can also use {{VIE}} (which is a redirect to this template) because "VIE" is the IOC code and FIFA code for Vietnam.
