Tōa-tūi[1] (Eng-gí: battalion) sī kun-tūi ê cho͘-chit tang-goân, nā kīn-tāi Tiong-kok-kun ê pian-chè pún chân-kip tōa-pō͘-hūn sī hō chò iâⁿ (營); nā Ji̍t-pún kap Hân-kok sú-iōng kap tōa-tūi tùi-tâng ê Hàn-jī-sû.

Pian-chè[siu-kái | kái goân-sú-bé]

Pian-chè siōng si̍t-chè tī koh kok sī ké-kiám bô sio-siâng--ê. It-poaⁿ tōa-tūi sī hâm 300 kàu 800 ūi peng-á, in koh ē-tàng hun chò chē-ê tiong-tūi (company). Tī Eng-kok Lio̍k-kún Pō͘-peng ê thé-hē lâi kóng, tōa-tūi sī chiàu sūn-sī ùi liân-tūi ē-té pian-hō, lāi-bīn hâm chóng-pō͘ tiong-tūi (headquarters company), chi-oân tiong-tūi (support company), saⁿ-ê pō͘-chhèng tiong-tūi (rifle company; tiāⁿ hun chò A, B, kap C saⁿ tūi). Tōa-tūi siū siàu-chò (major) kip ê chí-hui-koaⁿ (officer commanding) chí-hui; lēng-gōa phòe siàu-ùi (captain) he̍k-chiá tāi-ùi (senior lieutenan) kip chò hù-chí-hui (second-in-command).
