Tōa-tūi[1] (Eng-gí: battalion) sī kun-tūi ê cho͘-chit tang-goân, nā kīn-tāi Tiong-kok-kun ê pian-chè pún chân-kip tōa-pō͘-hūn sī hō chò iâⁿ (營); nā Ji̍t-pún kap Hân-kok sú-iōng kap tōa-tūi tùi-tâng ê Hàn-jī-sû.

Tōa-tūi siū siàu-chò (major) kip ê chí-hui-koaⁿ (officer commanding) chí-hui; lēng-gōa phòe siàu-ùi (captain) he̍k-chiá tāi-ùi (senior lieutenan) kip chò hù-chí-hui (second-in-command).
