Bûn-me̍h (Eng-gí: context; Ji̍t-gí: 文脈[1]), mā thang kóng siōng-hā-bûn[2], iā pōe-kéng, me̍h-lo̍k, sī kì-hō-ha̍k, giân-gí-ha̍k, siā-hōe-ha̍kjîn-lūi-ha̍k téng hun-iá ê koan-liām, sī bó͘ hāng bo̍k-phiau hāng-bo̍k sì-ûi ê mi̍h-kiāⁿ.

Nā ēng lâng ê kóng-ōe kap bûn-su lâi kóng, to̍h pí-lūn chi̍t kù ōe iā chi̍t-ê tan-jī hông piáu-ta̍t ê sî chiân-āu ê lōe-iông kap piáu-ta̍t ê khùi-kháu. Chia óa tī chi̍t tōaⁿ ōe sì-ûi ê piáu-ta̍t sêng-hun, hō chò kháu-thâu bûn-me̍h (verbal context), thang éng-hióng ōe ê ì-sù.
