Tī chhin-sio̍k chheng-ho͘ lāi-bīn, seng (甥) sī chí-moāi ê kiáⁿ-jî, ti̍t (姪) sī hiaⁿ-tī ê kiáⁿ-jî. Tī Hō-ló-ōe, in lóng ē-tàng kiò chò sun (-á).

Bân-lâm-gí[siu-kái | kái goân-sú-bé]

"Sun" ia̍h ū "kiáⁿ ê kiáⁿ" ê ì-sù, koan-hē chit jī, ké-soeh chi̍t khoán jīn-ûi sī Bân-lâm-gí ē-chân ê ûi-chek, lí-iû sī i hū-kīn ê Chōng-tông gí-giân kap Siâ-gú (畬語) ū chit khoán chêng-hêng[1]; lēng-gōa chi̍t khoán ké-soeh sī "seng" (甥) kap "sun" (孫) nn̄g jī hông tha̍k kâng-im chō-sêng ê cheng-chha.[2] Put koán sī seng, sun, ia̍h ti̍t, in tùi-èng ê Hàn-jī tī kó͘-chá kiam hiān-tāi Tang-a kok giân-gí lóng ū chē khoán bô kâng ê ēng-hoat.

Lēng-gōa, nā sī chí-moāi ê cha-bó͘-kiáⁿ, ia̍h ē-tàng te̍k-pia̍t chheng gōa-seng-lú; hiaⁿ-tī ê cha-bó͘-kiáⁿ ē-tàng kiò ti̍t-lú.[3]

Italia-gí, nipote tông-sî sī kiáⁿ ê kiáⁿ kap seng-ti̍t ê ì-sù. Tī Eng-gí, sī chiàu tùi-siòng ê sèng-pia̍t chiong hiaⁿ-tī chí-moāi ê kiáⁿ-jî hun nn̄g khoán, cha-po͘-kiáⁿ kiò nephew; cha-bó͘-kiáⁿ kiò niece. Í-siōng nn̄g gí àn-lē ê gí-goân lóng sī La-teng-gí ê nepotem.

Tī têng-kiàn chhut--lâi ê Goân-chho͘ Ìn-Au giân-gí lāi-bīn, chí-moāi ê kiáⁿ, kiáⁿ ê kiáⁿ sī kâng chi̍t jī *nepʰōtʰ-; tông-sî sī-tōa a-kū (a-bú ê hiaⁿ-tī) kap gōa-kong (a-bú ê a-pah) nn̄g-ê mā ēng kâng jī *HauHo-, che piáu-hiān liáu in tī chhin-sio̍k koan-hē lāi-bīn beh kâng ê tē-ūi.[4]

Thài-gí, seng/ti̍t kap kiáⁿ ê kiáⁿ lóng sī kóng lǎan (หลาน); lāi-bīn cha-po͘ koh thang kiò lǎan chaai (หลานชาย); cha-bó͘--ê kiò lǎan sǎo (หลานสาว).

Ji̍t-gí, mā sú-iōng liáu kap seng ti̍t nn̄g jī tùi-tâng ê Hàn-jî, Ji̍t-gí hō͘-im sī tha̍k chò oi (甥) kap mei (姪), oi sī hiaⁿ-tī chí-moāi ê cha-po͘-kiáⁿ, mei sī hiaⁿ-tī chí-moāi ê cha-bó͘-kiáⁿ.
