Chhâ-kia̍h, he̍k-chiá kóng ba̍k-kia̍h, sī êng chhâ chè-chō ê ê-á.

"Chhâ-kia̍h" chit jī tī Tâi-oân-ōe ū-sî chí Ji̍t-pún sek ê geta (下駄), chóng-sī Tâi-oân mā ū chāi-tē khoán-sek ê chhâ-kia̍h.

"Ba̍k-kia̍h-tah" sī chi-chhî ba̍k-kia̍h ê tah; "ba̍k-kia̍h-hīⁿ" sī ba̍k-kia̍h téng-bīn kò͘-tēng kha ê toà-á.
